Welcome to the Costa Daurada heart
Daurada Coast
The unmistakeably golden hue of the sand on the beach at dusk gives its name to these lands surrounded by Nature and bathed by the sea. With a sun and climate that provide a unique and pleasant environment, the Costa Daurada is the perfect place for enjoying the open air all year round.
Roman Tarragona
2,200 years of history conserved behind impressive walls. It is simple to slip into the past when strolling through the streets of this city, which conserves some of the most important monuments and architectural legacy of Roman culture. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 2000.
Modernista Route
The work of Gaudí, Jujol and Domènech i Montaner splash the streets of Reus and Tarragona with coloured ceramics, wrought iron in impossible shapes and decorative motifs inspired by Nature. Each building, each house-front is a window into bourgeois Catalonia.
Romanesque Route
The majestic monasteries of Santes Creus, Poblet and Vallbona de les Monges are the backbone of the Cistercian trail. Meditating on their imposing porticos or strolling through their cloisters is a genuine privilege. Churches and lordly castles scattered all over the area turn a simple excursion into an unforgettable experience.
Natural Spaces
From the sea-shore to the Montsant range, the Costa Daurada offers Nature lovers protected natural spaces with a wide variety of landscapes. The presence of mammals and birds that are unique to the area, dunes and wetlands permit visitors to enjoy this incalculable patrimony. The climate, excellent for cultivating vines, allows you to explore a great many different wines on the routes of the various wineries and denominations of origin.
